Senior Consultant Daisy returns to Little Foray after two-year adventure!

We are overjoyed to announce that Senior Consultant Daisy has returned to Little Foray after a two-year break filled with incredible adventures and new experiences. Two years ago, we were sad to see Daisy leave, but after five years of dedicated study in Beauty Promotion at Southampton University, we understood her need to spread her wings and explore the world for a while. Now, she’s back with even more expertise and a fresh perspective.

With her education completed, Daisy set off on a transformative adventure through South East Asia. She began in Thailand, where she immersed herself in a yoga retreat, finding peace and balance before challenging herself at a Muay Thai training camp. “The yoga retreat was exactly what I needed after finishing my studies,” Daisy says. “It helped me reset both mentally and physically. After that, Muay Thai was tough, but incredibly rewarding. The discipline and resilience I developed are life skills that have stayed with me.”

From Thailand, Daisy moved on to Vietnam, where she completed the famous Hai Giang Loop – a self-guided motorbike journey through stunning mountain landscapes. “Riding the loop made me feel truly free and liberated,” she says. “The sun on my skin, the wind on my face, the open road, and the breathtaking scenery made it unforgettable.”

Daisy’s travels then took her to Cambodia, where she lived on serene islands, embracing a peaceful paradise. “It was like living in a dream – the beaches were pristine, and the lifestyle was so tranquil. I found a sense of calm and serenity I had never experienced before.”

Upon returning from South East Asia, Daisy continued her career in hairdressing by working at an exclusive hair extension salon in Kensington. There, she specialised in tape extensions and became an expert in lived-in blonde hair colour. However, after experiencing some personal heartbreak, Daisy decided to embark on another adventure, spending the winter in the French Alps, where she brushed up on her skiing and learnt to snowboard.

“The lifestyle in the Alps was just incredible,” Daisy shares. “Snowboarding in the sunshine on fresh powder was an experience that can’t be beaten. Living in the mountains was so peaceful and majestic. It’s a time I’ll hold dear forever.”

This summer, Daisy returned to the UK, embracing the festival season, covered in glitter and dancing under the moonlight. But with autumn upon us, she is now ready to return to Little Foray and dive back into her passion. “It’s been so lovely to receive such a warm response to my return. I didn’t realise how much coming home to Thames Ditton would mean to me,” Daisy says. “While I was away, I completed advanced colour training, and I’m excited to bring those new skills back to the salon.”

Daisy is now with us three days a week, specialising in colour – particularly balayage, lived-in blondes, grey blending, and women’s cuts. We’re also excited to leverage her expertise in styling shoots and managing social media, bringing even more creativity to Little Foray’s digital presence.
